One panel, every kind of suffering

Built For How You Train.

Different sports load the body differently. The panel covers the systems all of them lean on.

Motocross & Off-Road

Motos are short, but the heart rate is pinned and the body takes a beating. Muscle-load, inflammation, hormone and bone markers give you context between race weekends.

  • Creatine kinase
  • hs-CRP + sed rate
  • Cortisol + testosterone
  • PTH + ionized calcium
A road cyclist climbing a mountain road above a lake

Road, Gravel & MTB

Big hours in the saddle with no impact loading. Iron status, energy availability, hormones and bone metabolism are the questions cyclists keep coming back to.

  • Ferritin + iron/TIBC
  • Vitamin D
  • Free T3 + IGF-1
  • PTH + phosphorus

Trail & Road Running

High mileage is hard on red cells and iron stores, and on the athlete who is not eating enough to cover it. See where you stand before a build, not after it falls apart.

  • CBC + ferritin
  • B12, folate + MMA
  • RBC magnesium
  • Thyroid + sex hormones

Triathlon & Open Water

Three sports means three training loads stacked on one body. A broad panel shows whether fuelling, recovery and hormones are keeping up with the hours.

  • Fasting insulin + A1c
  • AM cortisol + DHEA-S
  • Ferritin + iron/TIBC
  • Lipids, ApoB + Lp(a)
Questions the data can inform

Stop Guessing Why.

Why do my legs feel flat?

Is my iron actually low?

CBC, ferritin, iron + TIBC

Am I eating enough for this volume?

Why do I keep getting hurt?

Vitamin D, bone health, sex hormones

Is my heart-health picture as good as my fitness?

Lipids, ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, A1c

Common questions

We've Got Answers.

Do I need to fast?

Yes. The panel includes fasting insulin and a lipid panel, so plan on an 8 to 12 hour fast with water only. It also includes a morning cortisol, so book an early draw.

When should I test around training?

Hard or long sessions can move markers such as creatine kinase and inflammation for a day or more. Many athletes test after an easy day or a rest day, and retest under similar conditions so results are comparable. Your provider review will take your training into account.

What is the difference between the male and female panels?

They share the same core of 26 tests. The male panel uses a sensitive testosterone assay; the female panel uses the standard free and total testosterone assay and adds progesterone.

Where do I get my blood drawn?

At any LabCorp patient service center. After a provider reviews your order you receive a lab requisition by email to take with you. Most locations do not require an appointment.

Do I need insurance or a referral?

No. BloodWorx panels are direct-pay. The price you see covers the provider order, the lab work and the review.

Is this a diagnosis or medical treatment?

No. A panel gives you and your own clinician objective data. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it does not replace medical care.

Train On Data. Not Hunches.
